These Trial Terms supplement the Terms of Service and Billing Terms. They concern the card-backed subscription trial, not any separate public product demo.
1. Duration
An eligible trial lasts exactly seven consecutive 24-hour periods from the start timestamp shown at checkout. Checkout must show the start, exact end with time zone, selected plan, trial limits, first paid amount and first-charge date before the trial begins.
The payment card is required at signup. A card validation or temporary authorisation is not itself the subscription charge.
2. Eligibility and repeat-trial controls
The user must be at least 13 or any higher minimum required by local law. If the user cannot enter the subscription independently under local law, the trial must be ordered and accepted by a parent, legal guardian or authorised organisation that lawfully assumes the contract and payment obligation; an organisation does not replace parental permission where applicable law requires it. No direct self-service trial is available to a person who lacks that capacity. A trial may be limited to one for the same:
- natural person;
- organisation or substantially identical business; or
- payment method.
Creating another identity, workspace or card path to evade this rule is prohibited. DIRI AI may use proportionate account, workspace, provider-token, device/network and security signals to identify a repeat or risky attempt and may refuse it. A user may ask support@diriai.com for human review of a denial. These controls do not prove identity or guarantee that every repeated attempt will be detected; DIRI AI does not store the full card number.
3. Included access and limits
The trial includes only the features, seats and hard limits shown at checkout. No automatic overage fee is charged. When the limit is reached, the affected feature stops. Unused trial allowance has no cash value and does not roll over.
DIRI AI may correct an obvious metering error or stop a trial for fraud, unlawful content, security risk, repeat-trial abuse or material breach. A proportionate suspension does not remove mandatory consumer rights.
4. Automatic conversion
Unless the customer cancels before the displayed trial-end deadline, the trial automatically converts to the selected monthly plan and the payment provider attempts the exact first charge shown at checkout. The subscription then renews monthly until cancelled.
Checkout must require a clear acceptance of automatic conversion and must provide the confirmation and effective documents on a durable medium. The provider's signed events must control entitlement; a client-side countdown or marketing message is not enough.
5. Cancellation
The customer may cancel in authenticated billing settings at any time during the trial. Cancellation before the displayed deadline prevents the first subscription charge. Confirmation must state that conversion is stopped and whether access ends immediately or at the trial end.
No telephone cancellation may be required. If the portal is unavailable, contact billing@diriai.com before the deadline and retain evidence of the request. A support request must not be ignored merely because it arrived close to the deadline.
Cancellation at period end is configured in the test Portal, but cancel-before-trial-end with a zero first charge has not yet been proven through the complete signed-event sandbox lifecycle. It therefore remains a release gate and is not a statement that paid production is available.
6. Failed first payment
If the first charge fails, the subscription may become past due and paid functionality may be suspended immediately. DIRI AI does not promise a seven-day access grace. Payment recovery and reactivation follow the Billing Terms.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
For an EEA consumer, the statutory withdrawal period normally runs from conclusion of the contract, including during the trial. Cancelling automatic conversion is different from exercising the legal right of withdrawal. The checkout must capture any legally required express request for immediate performance and provide the withdrawal instructions and model form.
After conversion, statutory remedies and the goodwill rules in the Refund Policy apply. The trial is not described as a substitute for those rights.
8. Trial data
Trial data is handled like account and training data under the Privacy and Retention Policies. A cancelled or expired trial does not mean immediate erasure of invoices, security evidence or limited repeat-trial evidence. A customer may request export or deletion subject to applicable rights and legal exceptions.
9. Availability and changes
A trial is a real contracted digital service, not an excuse to exclude mandatory conformity obligations. However, no percentage uptime SLA applies to a standard trial. DIRI AI may withdraw the offer for future customers or change future trial limits; an already started trial keeps the terms confirmed at signup unless a security or legal change is necessary.
