How can we help?

Search the answers below or pick a topic. Most questions about your first call, the Free plan, audio and billing are covered here.

Getting started

Your first call in three steps.

How do I make my first call?

You can be talking within a couple of minutes.

  1. Create your account and confirm your email address with the link we send you. The Free plan needs a confirmed email before the first call.
  2. Choose a situation, then allow the microphone when your browser asks.
  3. Talk to the AI customer. When the call ends, your report is saved to your history.
What do I get after a call?

A report with what worked, which phrases to change and a suggested next step. The full report and the Overview are available on every plan, including Free.

How the Free plan works

Daily limit, what is locked and the 7-day trial.

What are the Free plan limits?

The Free plan includes 1 voice call per day, lasting at most 5 minutes. A clock counts down during the call and warns you before the last minute; when the time is up the call ends and your report is prepared. The next call becomes available the next calendar day (Europe/Prague time).

What is locked on Free?

AI coach, Goals, Academy, PDF export, Full history, Team features. Free shows history for the last 7 days. These are part of the paid plans.

How does the 7-day trial work?

After 3 calls on Free you are offered a trial of 7 days that unlocks everything. It needs a payment card, and the trial includes 12–15 voice minutes on individual plans. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends and return to Free without being charged.

When is my next Free call, and what do locked features show?

On the Free plan the app shows whether today's call is available or used, with a countdown to the next one (the day changes on Europe/Prague time). Locked features show a clearly labelled sample preview and an Upgrade option, so you can see what a paid plan adds. The preview is a sample, not your own data.

What is the upgrade card after a call?

On the Free plan, a card on a finished report can offer the trial (or the plans, when no trial is offered) to unlock the AI coach, goals, academy and PDF export. It appears only after a good call: a score of 70 or more, or a better result than your previous attempt of the same scenario. It is never shown for a provisional score, and at most once per 3 calendar days in the same browser. It is only an offer: nothing changes unless you choose it.

  1. Finish a practice call and open the report.
  2. If the card appears, choose Try it for 7 days or View plans.
  3. Ignore it to stay on Free; your report and Overview stay available.

Practice features

Overview cards, warm-up and meeting preparation.

How does the 30-day improvement view work?

In Results, the card Your improvement in 30 days compares the average score per skill in the first third of your scored practice calls from the last 30 days with the last third. It needs at least 3 scored calls in those 30 days, leaves out calls with a provisional score, and only you can see it. It describes these practice calls, not what will happen in real calls.

  1. Open Results.
  2. Find the card Your improvement in 30 days.
  3. Read the table of skills: first third, last third and the change; skills with too few calls in either group are not compared.
What is the To review card?

On Overview, To review lists up to 3 skills from your own scored calls that are worth repeating after a while, each with your score and either Review today or a Review by date. Practise opens a suitable scenario. If nothing needs repeating, the card says so; before your first scored call it has nothing to show. Only you see it.

How does the weekly challenge work?

On Overview, the weekly challenge picks the weakest skill from your own scored calls and sets a target of 3 calls on it. It stays the same for the whole week, and a new one starts every Monday (Europe/Prague time). Progress shows as calls done of 3. You need a few scored calls before one is offered, and only you see it.

How does the daily streak with forgiveness work?

The Daily streak card on Overview counts days in a row with a practice call. One single missed day is forgiven, but only once per 7 days: the missed day must sit between two days you practised, it bridges the streak without adding to the count, and the next forgiveness is available 7 days later. When today is still open, the card reminds you inside the app; there is no e-mail or push reminder. The card appears only while you have a current streak.

  1. Practise one call a day; one call is enough.
  2. If you miss a single day, the streak can continue, and the card tells you which day was forgiven.
  3. Two missed days in a row, or a second missed day before the next forgiveness is available, end the streak.
What is the 3-minute warm-up?

On Overview, the Before a meeting card has a 3 min warm-up button. One tap starts a short practice call on your weakest skill (or a simple scenario). The call ends by itself after three minutes, with a warning at the last half minute, and you get a report. It counts like any other call, for example as the daily call on Free.

  1. Open Overview and find Before a meeting.
  2. Tap 3 min warm-up and allow the microphone if asked.
  3. Talk until the clock ends the call; then open your report.
How do I prepare for a meeting?

Choose Prepare for a meeting on Overview, then pick a client situation, an area of interest and the client's main worry from three fixed lists. We find the closest scenario in your catalogue and show its goal, a suggested opening and typical objections; you start a targeted call with one button. Do not type names or contact details: you only choose a client type and nothing about a real client is stored. If there is no exact match, you are offered the closest or a beginner scenario. The call counts like a normal call.

  1. Open Overview and choose Prepare for a meeting.
  2. Answer all three lists.
  3. Read the suggested scenario, then start the targeted call.
How do I leave the leaderboard?

Where your company has turned the ranking on, it is company-only: you see colleagues from your own company and they see you, by the nickname you chose. Taking part is voluntary. To leave, open Challenges and choose Leave the ranking: this hides you from the ranking and your public profile immediately. You can publish a nickname again later. The ranking is gamified practice, not an assessment of employees.

  1. Open Challenges.
  2. In the profile section, choose Leave the ranking.
  3. To rejoin later, save a nickname again.

Microphone and audio troubleshooting

Permissions, headsets, echo and noisy rooms.

My browser cannot use the microphone. How do I allow it?

Allow microphone access for diriai.com, then reload the page and start the call again.

  1. Chrome and Edge: click the icon at the left of the address bar, set Microphone to Allow, then reload.
  2. Firefox: click the permissions icon in the address bar, remove the blocked Microphone entry, reload and choose Allow when asked.
  3. Safari on Mac: choose Safari, Settings, Websites, Microphone, and set this site to Allow.
  4. Safari on iPhone and iPad: open Settings, Safari, Microphone (or the aA menu, Website Settings) and set this site to Allow. Also check that no other app is recording.
The AI customer cannot hear me, or I cannot hear it.

Check that the right microphone and speakers are selected in the system sound settings, that the microphone is not muted, and that no other app or video call is using it. If you plug in or remove a device during a call, the app tries to reconnect the microphone automatically; if it does not, end the call and start again.

Should I use a headset or Bluetooth earbuds?

A wired headset gives the cleanest sound and removes echo. Bluetooth works, but switching to a headset microphone can lower audio quality and add delay. Connect the device before you start the call and select it in your system settings.

I hear an echo.

Echo usually means the microphone picks up the speakers. Use a headset, or lower the speaker volume and move the microphone away from the speakers. Close other tabs or apps that play sound.

The room is noisy. What can I do?

Choose a quieter room, close windows, and speak close to the microphone. A headset microphone helps most. Browsers apply noise suppression automatically, but strong background speech or music can still confuse the conversation.

What is the microphone help card in the app?

Before a call, if the check finds the microphone blocked, silent or unsupported, the app shows a card with three steps for your browser (Safari on iPhone and iPad, Safari on Mac, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Chrome on Android or another browser). A blocked or unsupported microphone holds the start button back, because the call would stay silent; a quiet microphone only warns you. The app cannot change your browser settings for you.

  1. Follow the three steps shown for your browser to allow the microphone.
  2. Choose Try again; the app checks the microphone once more.
  3. If it says it cannot hear you, check that the microphone is not muted and the right device is selected.

Supported browsers and devices

What you need to practise by voice.

Which browsers and devices are supported?

Use an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer, or Safari or Chrome on a recent iPhone, iPad or Android phone. You need a microphone, a stable internet connection and a secure (https) page. Some in-app browsers (inside social or mail apps) block the microphone; if that happens, open diriai.com in your regular browser.

The call keeps dropping. Is it my connection?

Voice needs a steady connection. Move closer to your router or use a cable, pause large downloads and disable a VPN if you use one. If it keeps happening, email us with your browser and device.

How do I add DIRI AI to my home screen?

You can add the app to your phone's home screen and open it full-screen like an app; Settings has a short hint in its Help part. The hint disappears once the app is already installed. Allow the microphone as you would in the browser, and note that calls still need an internet connection; if a call is interrupted, start it again from the app.

  1. iPhone and iPad (Safari): tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen.
  2. Android (Chrome): open the three-dot menu, then choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Open DIRI AI from the new icon.

For team leads

Onboarding checklist and pilot results.

What is the manager onboarding checklist?

On the Team overview, managers and company administrators see a short checklist: invite 3 colleagues, assign a first call or scenario, and see the first training results. The steps tick themselves from what is already in the app. Invitations follow your plan's seat limit and can be sent by a company administrator; a manager is asked to contact the administrator. The checklist is about setting up practice, not about evaluating anyone.

How do I download the pilot results PDF?

On the Team overview, managers and company administrators can choose Download pilot results (PDF) for a team. The two-page document covers participation, improvement and a recommendation. It contains team totals only: any figure based on fewer than 5 sellers, or that could single out a person, is replaced by not enough data, some values are marked as approximate, and there are no names, individual scores or transcripts. Reference targets are not guarantees. If the export is unavailable, you see a message and can try again later.

  1. Open Team and choose your team if you have several.
  2. Choose Download pilot results (PDF).
  3. Check the period shown on the document before you share it.

Free tools and public pages

How we score, objection catalog, sample call, script generator, ROI calculator and partner widget.

How are my calls scored?

Each practice call gets a rule-based score from 0 to 100 and 1 to 5 stars across 26 criteria; AI feedback explains the result and does not change the number. The How we score page shows the criteria, the methodology version and the date of the last change. Limits: the method is not yet validated against human raters and no accuracy figures are published; scores in call languages other than Czech are preliminary; scores are for training and must not be the sole basis for decisions about people.

Open the page

What is the objection catalog?

A free public page with 25 common client objections for insurance and financial advisors. For each one it explains why the client says it, a recommended approach, a response to avoid and a link to practise it. It is educational conversation training: it is not legal or financial advice, has no product figures and promises no results. Each objection has its own link.

  1. Open the page; no sign-up is needed.
  2. Choose an objection and read the approach and what to avoid.
  3. Use the practise link to try it with an AI customer.

Open the page

Can I see a sample call before I sign up?

Yes. The Sample call page shows three short synthetic dialogues as text (a consent-first cold call, a price objection and a needs-based insurance review), each with one illustrative tip. There is no sign-up and no audio, they are not recordings of real people, and the tip is an example, not a real score. In real practice calls you talk to an AI customer that is always labelled as AI.

Open the page

How do I use the call script generator?

Choose an industry, a call type (cold call, referral, follow-up or renewal), the customer role, the call goal and the main objection. You get a script with an opening, discovery questions, objection handling and a next step. It is assembled from fixed reviewed templates, not written by AI, so the same selection always gives the same script; nothing is stored or sent. Replace every [bracket] with your own approved facts. It is a starting point for practice, not legal or compliance advice, and it must not be used to evaluate people.

  1. Open the generator and make your five choices.
  2. Copy the script, or choose Download PDF and Save as PDF in the print dialog.
  3. Choose Practise this script to rehearse it with an AI customer.

Open the page

What does the ROI calculator show?

You enter team size, hours of led role-play per seller per month and the cost of a trainer or manager hour. It shows a cautious-to-optimistic range of freed trainer and manager time, its value, the difference to a published plan price and break-even. The assumptions are illustrative and editable. It is an estimate, not a guarantee; everything is calculated in your browser and inputs are not stored. It is for training efficiency, not for evaluating people.

How do partners embed the Test yourself widget?

The widget is one iframe with the free objection-handling test: visitors answer eight situations and see a score; their answers stay in their browser. Paste the snippet into your page and set the language (en, cs, sk, pl or de). Partner codes are issued after a short review; an unknown code is ignored. The widget sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, and only the widget address may be framed. Present it as a practice tool, not a test of someone's suitability; a score must not be the sole basis for an HR decision.

Billing and cancellation

Manage your plan yourself, any time.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Open the app, go to Settings, Plan, where you see your active plan, the next payment date and the cancel option. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. During a trial, cancel before it ends to avoid a charge.

When am I charged?

Never during the trial period of 7 days. After it ends the paid plan starts and you will have seen the exact date and price before confirming.

Can I cancel without signing in?

Yes. The website footer has a link Cancel contracts here (German: Verträge hier kündigen) in every language, and it opens a page that needs no sign-in. Enter your name and the contract e-mail address, choose an ordinary or extraordinary cancellation (an extraordinary one needs a reason), and optionally a contract description and a date; without a date the contract ends at the end of the paid period. Then press Cancel now (German: jetzt kündigen). It acts only for the account owner: if the address belongs to the owner's contract, the cancellation takes effect as soon as we receive it, and a confirmation goes to the address on file with a link to withdraw it if it was not you. The page looks the same for every address, so check that mailbox, including spam. Cancelling is not the same as the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers.

  1. Open Cancel contracts here in the website footer.
  2. Fill in your name and the contract e-mail address, then choose the type of cancellation.
  3. Press Cancel now and save or print the receipt page.
Where are my invoices, and how do I add my company ID and tax ID?

The account owner finds Invoices in Settings, Plan: choose Show invoices to see the most recent ones with number, date, amount and status, and to view or download each as a PDF. Company ID and tax ID are printed on invoices when they are saved in your billing details. Choose Edit billing details to add or correct them in the secure billing portal.

Privacy and data

What we keep and how to control it.

How is my data handled?

Your practice is used to give you your own report. The Trust Center explains what we process, who can see it and how long it is kept, and links to the privacy policy and data processing agreement.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Open Settings, Privacy to review your options and to request an export or deletion, subject to the terms of service and applicable legal obligations.
